It produces its antimicrobial activity by binding to 30 s ribosomal Subunit of the organism resulting in inhibition of microbial protein synthesis.<\/p>\n<p>Streptomycin has activity against G +ve bacteria &amp; g \u2013ve bacteria including E-coli &amp; Salmonella spp.<\/p>\n<p>Indications:<\/p>\n<p>It is used for treatment of:<\/p>\n<p>Broiler chickens: treatment of non-specific infectious enteritis caused by organisms susceptible to streptomycin.<\/p>\n<p>Swine and calves: treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp susceptible to streptomycin.<\/p>\n<p>Target species: Broiler chickens, swine and calves.<\/p>\n<p>Dosage:<\/p>\n<p>Broiler chickens: 0.09-0.1 ml of the Product \/ kg b. wt. (eq. to 1 ml \/ liter drinking water).<\/p>\n<p>Swine and calves: 0.09-0.1 ml of the product \/ kg b .wt.<\/p>\n<p>For injection bottle 400ml for 2 ton meat<\/p>\n<p>Warning &amp; precaution:<\/p>\n<p>Animal to be treated must actually be drinking enough water to provide the recommended level of streptomycin.<\/p>\n<p>Contra-indication:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not to be used in animal hypersensitive to streptomycin.<\/li>\n<li>Do not administer to chicken producing eggs for human consumption<\/li>\n<li>Medicated water must be used within 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Side Effects: No side effects on the recommended dose<\/p>\n<p>Withdrawal time: Broiler chicken meat: 4 days before slaughter Swine and calves: 2 days before slaughter.<\/p>\n<p>Storage: stored at temp.
